"Sade", “D”
"Sadie was born in New York City and grew up in the borrow of Queens, her parents second generation latinos. She had one older brother – Carlos who is 5 years older than Sadie - who ended up becoming a drug dealer early on in his high school career and was in and out of jail for years. Sadie’s mother was a music teacher and her father worked in a factory for years but is now a plumber. No one ever really expected much out of the girl from the barrios but just like so many other kids, she longed for fame – for something bigger. But unlike the other kids she didn’t think that her voice was worth any sort of fame and she knew for a fact that she couldn’t act so she ended up devoting her time to the only thing she could possibly think of – writing.
Her life as a writer started at a young age, she was reading by 3 and writing short stories daily by the age of 6. Sometimes people had even gone far enough to call Sadie a child prodigy – jokingly of course - but that never changed her main goal in life – to be a famous screenplay writer. She ended up finishing her first full length script when she was 13 – the play, “The Life of Miranda Jones”, was performed by her friends for a small audience and then reproduced for a school festival. Sadie continued to write long after that, but it wasn’t until she was 16 that she and her friends actually set her scripts to film – filming “A Tragic Love”, a full-length period romance film, on a very low budget. “A Tragic Love” ended up winning an award at the New York Film Festival which led to a script commission for Sadie and a Sundance Film Award. After receiving the accolades from the Sundance Film Society at the age of 20, Sadie was known as the youngest up and coming writer in the Independent Film Society.
Even though Sadie was well-known for her writing abilities, she continued in high school and finished school at the age of 17, moving to Hollywood where she was presented with better filming crews, up and coming directors and actors – the ones that led to the Sundance Award-Winning Film “Young Blood” a film about a young couple struggling to make ends meet with a child on a way. Now, at the age of 21, Sadie is working on an all-new screenplay and hoping to make the leap from the Independent Film world to full-budget films like she had always dreamt of. She is more determined than ever and will do anything – even step on the dreams of others – so that her dream can be achieved.
Sadie lives alone in a small apartment with her German Shepherd – her guard dog – and has gotten used to life away from the barrio and her parents and older brothers. She has always been a very kind and caring person, but also very determined. And despite her success, she is still very grounded – like Jennifer Lopez once said ‘I’m still Jenny from the block’ and that certainly applies with Sadie. She is fully aware of where she comes from and she still keeps in touch with a ton of her friends from back home. Unfortunately, Sadie has a tendency to fall in love quickly, so being around so many fabulous and famous people has been dangerous to her sanity – she’s constantly falling in love and writing a new screenplay about someone else. All in all, she is the girl next door type – sweet, funny, charming and an all-around great person to be with. But there is a short few days once a month where you’d hate to be around her – during that time Sadie’s likely to snap at a person for no apparent reason at all. She is also very outgoing – which she demonstrates in her clothes which are always the brightest of colors and the most eye popping of prints.
Sometimes Sadie is considered to be childish because she thrust herself into her work, focusing only on her dreams so thoroughly that she missed out on a lot of the normal teenaged experiences that most everyone else experienced. So, if she's to go out and party she doesn't know when enough is enough - she goes all out because she never got the chance to learn when she was younger. But because of her forced aging, she is also wise beyond means. She has always been the person that her friends ran to for advice.
Her pet peeve is being told what to do when someone thinks it’s for “her own good”. If someone tells her to go get some rest she gets upset – who gives them the right to command her around? But she will willingly do anything for someone who asks nicely. She just doesn’t like when people take it upon themselves to choose what’s good for her and what isn’t. She also hates it when people ask her if she’s in a bad mood; she’d prefer her moods to go unnoticed and if someone points out what sort of mood she’s in it spoils any good feelings she could have had. So, long story short she dislikes when people try to delve into her mind – Sadie is a mystery that even she doesn’t understand and she’d prefer it if no one tried to figure her out."

A soft smile played across the model's face as Damian seemingly approved of her meal choice. It was a model thing, she supposed, trying to be up on all of the trends and tending for anything more exotic, absolutely different. Thai was under that list of hot new things to try and even though she thought of it as an Indian-styled Chinese restaurant, she still went there every now and again. Besides, one of those girly magazines she modeled for had had an article that men liked daring women, the ones that tried new and exotic things - maybe that's what Damian liked. She could only hope.
His chuckle, gentle as the wind that blew and teased at her hair, sent a shiver down her spine with seemingly effortless ease. "Yes, I name my car... she has a personality and she acts just like an angry ex-girlfriend sometimes, she deserves a name," she said with a shrug. And then it was her turn to let a giggle slip from her lips, softly filling the air around them like the soft fragrance that clung to her skin. "Well, I will more than willingly drive.. I do like life, after all - it's been pretty good to me so far." A statement that seemed like nothing to this Adrianne was really a lingering voice of the Adrianne Damian had fallen in love with, the model's soul longing to enjoy her second chance and longing to spend it with the man she loved even if the model was unaware of the importance of the man beside her.
She slipped into the car, smiling as he opened the door for her with such theatrics and pulling her seatbelt gently across her chest. She put the key in the ignition and watched as her enigma buckled himself in as well - safety first. Then putting the car into drive she pulled out of the parking lot and onto the road headed back towards the city and the restaurant.
"Yup, this is my car," she said with a short nod, a soft sigh slipping from her lips. "She gets the job done and that's all that really matters.." she muttered, trying to fill in the silence as he fiddled around with her belongings that sat out in the open - a few CDs, a candle that she had gotten but never taken out of the car, some of her makeup sitting in the cup holder, definately a young woman's car - a chaotically, organized mess. "Thanks," she said quietly to his approval. She couldn't really change the car if he didn't like it - she didn't have the money for that sort of thing.
Her heart beat quickly, as if remembering some odd imagined moment or another. The model's mind flashing to a dream she had had, spending a night with Damian like this, carefree and simple. "I.. um..." she said, not knowing what to say - it seemed effortless to be around him, but oh so complicated at the same time. "I feel like I know you from before... like, even before," she stopped, not knowing how to describe their meeting. "..that night. But I don't know why... like, I've known you in my dreams or something." She smiled and laughed quietly, "Silly, huh?" Life had done stranger things to her, so silly may have been an understatemtent.
